DAY
01 - WEDNESDAY New Delhi
On your arrival into New Delhi you will be met
by a Palace Wheels representative and transferred to your hotel.

Departure from Delhi Cantonment.
Step on to the boards of The Palace on Wheels for a trip to the past in
the
most modern way. Evening Tea and Dinner onboard. Overnight Palace on Wheels.
DAY 02 - THURSDAY Arrival: 02.00 hrs. Departure 19.30 hrs
Jaipur -:The gateway to Rajasthan, the 'Pink City' of Jaipur was founded by famous
astronomer king Maharaja Jai Singh II in the first half of the 17th century. In
Jaipur you will be greeted by ornamented elephants to the strains of the Shehnai.
Lunch at Rambagh Palace. Explore Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh fort, Amber fort &
silent sentinels of a glorious era. For the sightseeing of the city, an air-conditioned
coach takes you to Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, which is an outstanding
five-storied building. It was built to enable the royal household ladies to watch
the daily proceedings. This is followed by a visit to Amber Fort, where rides
on caparisoned elephants add more excitment. 1700 hours: Depart for Jaisalmer.
2000 hours: Dinner on board.
DAY
03 - FRIDAY
Arrival: 08.15 hrs. Departure 23.00 hrs
Jaisalmer -:
In the heart of the Thar Desert lies Jaisalmer, founded by Rawal Jaisal, in 1156
A.D. Jaisalmer also called golden city, the yellow sandstone fort towering magnificently
over the city is a wonderful sight. Visit the extraordinarily designed havelis
or mansions with their grand facades. The Salim Singh-ki-haveli, Nathmalji-ki-haveli
and Patwon-ki-haveli are fine examples of the stone carver's.
0830 hours:
Depart for sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer.
1300 hours: Lunch onboard and rest.
After lunch onboard, visit the sand dunes and enjoy camel safari. Have dinner
and relish the cultural programs at a hotel in Jaisalmer.
2300 hours: Depart
for Jodhpur.
DAY 04 - SATURDAY
Arrival:
07.00 hrs. Departure 15.30 hrs
Jodhpur -: - Now the Palace-On-Wheels is in
Jodhpur. The city of Jodhpur is second largest city of Rajasthan and is famous
for its magnificent forts and palaces. Founded by the Rajput chief Rao Jodha in
1459, Jodhpur was the capital of the erstwhile princely state of Marwar state
and having Mehrangarh Fort standing majestically overlooking the city. The splendid
palaces within the fort are Sheesh Mahal,
Moti Mahal, Sileh Khana, Phool
Mahal and Daulat Khana.
0730 hours: Breakfast served onboard.
0800 hours:
Arrive at Jodhpur.
0830 hours: Depart for local sightseeing.
1300 hours:
Lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace.
1530 hours: Depart for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore
National Park).
2000 hours: Dinner served onboard.
Depart for Ranthambore
DAY
05 - SUNDAY
Arrival: 04.00 hrs. Departure 10.30 hrs
Sawai Madhopur
-: Sawai Madhopur is the gateway to the world famous Ranthambore National Park,
which is noted for its lush environs, clear lakes, rivers and wild life consist
of Tigers and other species with more chances of sighting them. Next is Chittorgarh,
where India's most impresive fort lingering with its history and unending passion
of saga, chivalry and romance.
0400 hours: Arrive at Sawai Madhopur.
0630 hours: Breakfast onboard.
0700 hours: Visit the Ranthambore National
Park
1100 hours: Depart for Chittorgarh.
1300 hours: Lunch served onboard.
1530 hours: Arrive at Chittorgarh.
1600 hours: Depart for local sightseeing.
2000 hours: Depart for Udaipur and dinner onboard.
DAY 06 - MONDAY
Arrival: 20.00 hrs. from Chittorgarh
Udaipur -:Romantic & the
'City of Lakes', Udaipur, was founded in the 1559 A.D by Maharana Udai Singh of
Mewar. Situated by the Lake Pichola, Udaipur has been an inspiration for poets,
painters and writers and is famous for its palaces, lakes, museums, temples and
gardens. The Lake Palace (converted hotel and run by Taj group of hotels) is the
major attraction of the city.
0645 hours: Arrive at Udaipur. Breakfast served
onboard.
0730 hours: Depart for sightseeing of the one of the most romantic
cities in the world.
1230 hours: Lunch at the mystical Lake Palace Hotel.
2000 hours: Depart for Bharatpur. Dinner served onboard. 08.30 hrs. Depart
for Bharatpur and Agra.
DAY
07 - TUESDAY
Arrival: 06.30 hrs. Departure 11.45 hrs
Bharatpur -:
Bharatpur is having world famous bird sanctuary - Keoladeo Ghana National Park,
also know as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. An ornithologist's paradise due to 300
and more species of birds with lot of variety on flora & fauna.
0600
hours: Arrive at Bharatpur and visit Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary.
0830 hours:
Breakfast at the Bharatpur Forest Lodge.After visiting the Bharatpur bird sanctuary,
an air-conditioned coach will take you to Fatehpur Sikri (22 kms/14 miles), the
abandoned city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The final sightseeing of Agra, situated
on the banks of the River Yamuna, having incredible Taj Mahal - monument of Love
etched in white marble and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra also has
Agra Red Fort - marvel of Mughal architectue.
1030 hours: You will be driven
to Fatehpur Sikri
1300 hours: Lunch at the Mughal Sheraton Hotel / onboard

1500 hours: Sightseeing tour of Agra
2000 hours: Depart for
Delhi and dinner onboard.
Depart for Delhi.
DAY 08 - WEDNESDAY
Arrive: 0600 HRS
Farewell breakfast onboard. Arrive back at Delhi
Cantonment Railway Station and proceed for onward journey or to take a flight
back home.
