In 2003, Pia and Mehul Johnson, who were inspired by their own personal travels, conceptualized a place where people can retreat to bask in the tranquility of Manali and the surrounding landscape. Their dream of building a lodge eventually came to fruition to become one of Manali’s best stay experiences, The Johnson Lodge. With careful planning and a focus on providing unparalleled hospitality services to our guests, The Johnson Bar & Restaurant was the first segment that opened for operations during Diwali in 2004. In the following year in August 2005, the entire Johnson Lodge officially opened to the public.
