Salasar Balaji temple is a religious place for the devotees of Lord Hanuman. As a result of his incomparable strength, he has been called Balaji. The temple is located in Churu district of Rajasthan. Throughout the year, innumerable Indian devotees visit Salasar Dham for darshan. Every year big fairs are organized on Chaitra Purnima and Ashwin Purnima. Salasar Balaji temple is a grand and huge temple built in Rajasthani style. The grand idol of Shri Balaji is seated on a golden throne in the temple. In its upper part there is Shri Ram Darbar and in the lower part Hanuman ji adorned with beard and moustache is seated in the form of Shri Balaji at the feet of Shri Ram. The main idol is made of Shaligram stone which is decorated with ochre colour and gold. This form of Balaji is amazing, attractive and impressive. All around the idol is decorated with gold and a grand crown studded with gold gems has been placed on it. The idol is also adorned with a golden umbrella made of about 5 kg of gold.

The daily traditional offering and worship and archana of Shri Balaji is done by the descendants of devotee Shri Mohandas ji. In the offering of Balaji, Pyaru churma, laddu, peda, sugar candy, dry fruits etc. are offered. Traditional roti and khichda are also included in the offering of Shri Balaji. The story, recitation, chanting and kirtan of Shri Balaji Maharaj keep going on here continuously. After the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled by the grace of Shri Balaji Maharaj, jaat, jadulay, flag, coconut and umbrella etc. are presented here. Some devout devotees offer Savamani, Bhandaara etc. Savamani is most popular here.
Shri Hanuman Mandir is situated right in the middle of Salasar town. Probably this is the only temple in the country where the statue of Hanuman Ji is with beard and moustache. There is a special and interesting story behind the statue of God with beard and moustache. It is said that a saint Mohan Das Maharaj was having food at his sister Kanhi Bai's house. During this time Balaji (Hanuman Ji) appeared before him in the guise of a saint. After this, when Mohan Das Maharaj saw Balaji with beard and moustache, he decorated the statue of Balaji with beard and moustache. This same statue was installed about 253 years ago in Salasar temple.

Since the time of consecration, an eternal lamp is lit inside the temple. The salt-free water of the ancient well inside the temple premises is health-enhancing. Devotees get relief from many diseases by taking bath here. The ancient Dhuna situated inside the temple is still burning. Initially there was a small temple near the Jati tree. By the grace of Shri Balaji Maharaj, today there is a huge temple made of gold here. The Jaanti tree is still present on which devotees offer coconut and flags and tie red threads to make wishes. The red flags installed on top of the temple, reflecting Indian culture, keep fluttering continuously.
Shri Anjani Mata Temple is situated at a distance of about 1 km from Shri Balaji Temple. This temple of Anjani Mata is grand and the idol is made in heaven. The beauty of the temple is grand and the atmosphere is pure. All the devotees coming to Salasar first worship and offer Prasad in Shri Anjani Mata Temple. After that the devotees proceed towards Shri Balaji Temple. Some special devotees reach the temple by walking on their stomachs. The pilgrims coming on foot carry the red flag in their hands.
