The Old House, which still exists, was used as a Hunting Lodge and Guest House by the erstwhile royal family of Orchha. The present royal resort which has now become a popular destination in India, is an addition to the old construction that dates back to 1895.

Description

The Bundelkhand Riverside Heritage hotel in Orchha consists of 36 rooms, 12 of which overlook the Betwa river and have verandahs from where the guests can enjoy the view of the flowing waters of the beautiful Betwa river. There are 11 poolside rooms with lawns in the heritage wing and 13 Betwa Riverside cottages, which can be used for marriages, engagements, birthday parties and other large events including stunning Riverside Manadp setups.

Our restaurant takes inspiration from the magnificent Jahangir Mahal and is decorated with beautiful blue tiles and is known as The Turquoise Diner. The Turquoise diner brings up the hearty flavours of Indian, Chinese, Italian and continental dishes. This multi cuisine restaurant offers indoor as well as outdoor seating with serene views of lush green landscape with evening Bundelkhandi folk music in Mughal garden.One can enjoy the aroma of fragrant spices and authentic dishes lovingly cooked by our chefs from our kitchen. The specialty restaurant traverses the magical flavours of Bundelkhandi local dishes as well like Murg Bundelkhand, Kothi Ghat fish curry and Baingan ka Bharta etc.
