Pali Waterfall - Sacred and Serene Waterfall of North Goa.

Pali Waterfall popularly known as shivling falls, it is situated near a quite serene village named Pali in North Goa. This falls is rated amongst the most beautiful falls in Goa. Nestled deep in the forests of North Goa, this waterfall is perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and anyone who wants to experience the raw beauty of the Western Ghats.

 

Pali Waterfall is not a big or roaring fall, but it is special due to its natural beauty, calmness, and privacy. The water cascades over black rocks into a natural pool, which is safe for a quick dip. The area is surrounded by trees and rocks, making it a perfect spot to relax, meditate, or enjoy a picnic.

 

The Pali Waterfall trek is a moderate-level forest walk that takes about 30–45 minutes one way. The trail is surrounded by thick trees, small streams, and rocky patches. While the trek isn't too hard, it can be slippery during monsoon season. Trekking shoes, water bottles, and group travel are recommended for safety and comfort.

The best time to visit Pali Waterfall is during the monsoon and post-monsoon season - between June and October. These day Waterfall is in full flow, forest is lush green and trail is safer and more stable.

 

Pali lies close to the lush Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary, surrounded by thick forests, streams, and hilly terrain. It's around 55–60 km from Panjim and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours by road to reach.
