Gurudwara Shri Jhulane Mahal Sahib - Historical Gurdwara

 

Gurudwara Shri Jhulane Mahal Sahib is a historical Gurudwara situated in the Village Thathi Khara, District Tarn Taran in Punjab. Perhaps this is the only holy historical place of Sikh religion. this Gurdwara Sahib is on a link road from Shri Amritsar to Tarantarn Sahib. The gurdwara sahib is located on a village which is bit away from the main high way road.

 

There is very big cemented chair in Gurudwara Shri Jhulane Mahal Sahib, which is same as the height of elephant. Many people can sit on chair at same time and one person push the cemented chair with both hands. When some one pushes brick wall with full strength people sitted on chair feels like the ride of elephant. With the bleesing of Shiri Arjan dev ji 5th Guru Sahib of Sikh religion this wall is still a blessed wonder. There is a history behind this all.

 

Acording to the history once upon a time Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji was monitoring the excavation of holy tank at Tarn Taran and at the night time Guru Sahib used to come here for rest. Guru Sahib used to hold daily preaching over here. Once religious diwan was going on and people were listening to Guru Sahib. On the back side there was army going on in which there were elephants, horses and soldiers also. People were looking on the back side. When Guru Sahib asked what were they looking at, People said we were looking on swinging elephants, GURU SAHIB told them that this was live animals, but your Mahals will swing for lives. Now there is wall, when we try to move it swings in actual.
