Rajasthan, the land of gallantry and sacrifice is one of the tourist hubs in India. Rajasthan is more famous for being a royal state and the reality reflects on every small object of the state. Rajasthan is north western state of India. The world Rajasthan means - Land of Kingdoms. Rajasthan is also home to world oldest civilization - Indus Valley civilization. The north-western part of Rajasthan is mostly sandy and dry which is known as Thar Desert. This princely western state of India is known for its wide range of features such as well-made palaces, effulgent sand dunes, golden and shiny Thar Desert, regal forts, the well-known Aravali range, chhattris, limpid lakes and many more. Apart from these, this royal state is also known to be the proud home of many historical cities such as Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bundi, Chittaurgarh, Pushkar and many more. The state is not only known for its heritages but also popular for the preservation flora and fauna in many of its wild life sanctuaries and national parks such as Sariska, Ranthambore, Keoledeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, Desert National Sanctuary, Tal Chappar Sanctuary, etc. A visit to this land of kings and queens will make anybody fall in love with the state. Desert Safari:
The golden Thar Desert looks outstanding during the sunset as its colour turns to orange from yellow. However, on this golden soft desert, a very interesting and exciting thing also takes place, which is called desert safari. In fact, desert safari s perfect for those, who love adventures. People, who are fond of thrills, can go for the jeep safari and those who want to enjoy the beauty of the desert can opt for the camel safari.
    
Swiss Tent:
A trip to Rajasthan cannot be complete sans staying at a Swiss tent at least for a night. These tents are small yet comfortable and the tourists can obtain all the facilities in these tents that they get in the hotels. In fact, the tourists who stay at these tents are entertained by the local people with folk dances and music.
   
Forts and Palaces:

Though, Rajasthan gives a picture of golden desert and royal palaces in everybody's mind, but the state is also rich in wildlife. The tourists can witness many species of birds which also migrate from other countries in some specific seasons. There are also many Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks in the state which help the state to collect huge revenues through its tourists.

Art & Culture play significant role in the state of Rajasthan and the people of this state still believe in holding their cultures. The glimpses of the art & culture of the state can be seen in the palaces, forts, festivals and fairs. One of the famous fairs that take place in Rajasthan is Pushkar Fair. In fact, this fair must be attended by the tourists who are eager to gather information about Rajasthan and its culture.
   
Folk Music & Dance:
Apart from the glorious part of Rajasthan where every object reveals royalty, the natives of this state are still involved with their cultures. In fact, in many hotels of Rajasthan, folk music  & dance are performed by the local artists to entertain the guests.

The train was used by the Raja, Maharajas and Viceroys of India in the British period. However, now even the common people can also travel around Rajasthan with the Palace on Wheels.
